Unable to appear because you are the primary care giver of one or more individuals who are ill or physically disabled. A resident or patient of a Veterans Health Administration Hospital. In jail or prison for any reason other than a felony conviction (this includes anyone who is awaiting grand jury action, awaiting trial, or serving a sentence for a misdemeanor).

ID needed to Early Vote?	New York does not require voters to show ID when voting. First time voters who did not provide valid identification when registering must show an ID at the polling place when voting. Valid Forms of Identification include: Current Photo IDs that have photograph and name: Driver’s license or state issued ID card; Passport; Employee ID card; Credit or Debit card; Military ID; Student ID; Health Club ID; Insurance Plan ID card; Public Housing ID Card.
